Anti-burglary

Anti-burglary windows glass glass-pane-types anti-burglary
Burglar proof Glass is a type of security glass, designed to effectively resist attempts to break in and destroy it. It is usually laminated glass, consisting of several layers of glass joined by one or more layers of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) film or other materials with similar properties. Glass thickness, the number of layers of glass and film, as well as their quality, are adjusted according to the required burglary resistance class. These glasses can also be tempered before lamination, which further increases their strength.

Advantages of using anti-burglary glass

  • Burglary protection: Burglar-proof glass makes unauthorized access to the interior much more difficult by delaying or preventing the window or door from being forced open.
  • High impact resistance: Layers of PVB film prevent the glass from breaking into sharp pieces, reducing the risk of injury during an attempted breakage.
  • Deterrent effect: The visible presence of burglar-proof glass can act as a deterrent to potential burglars.
  • Maintaining structural integrity: Even when damaged, burglar-resistant glass often retains its structural integrity, allowing the window or door to continue to perform its function.
  • Protection against accidental damage: Glass is more resistant to accidental impacts, which can be especially valuable in homes with children or in public places.
  • Sound Insulation: layers of film and additional thicknesses of glass improve sound insulation, which is beneficial in noisy locations.
  • UV protection: PVB film filters out harmful UV rays, which protects interiors from fading and sun damage.
